Hey all, V here! They call me the Numbers Girl. It’s a nickname I earned way back in college because I never met a number that I couldn’t crunch (hehe). My love for numbers led me to a degree in both Accounting and Finance, a license as a CPA, and a career in business accounting and financial management.

But as passionate as I am about numbers, it is the people I worked with that truly influence me. I continue to be inspired by the business owners that I came across, who took a huge risk to pursue their passion, and strive to turn it into a profitable business. They have been my motivation for starting my own business and becoming the Small Biz Numbers Girl. So, I took everything I learned in my career and my own personal experiences to help small business owners get confident with the money side of things, get a handle on their business, and thrive in their business endeavors.

As a CPA* who’s spent more than 8 years helping hundreds of business owners (from newbies to 7-figure businesses), I strive to use my knowledge and experience to create services and resources to help business owners like you hone their skills so that they can thrive in business.

Although “business” is my business, I’d like to think of myself as more on the casual side. I’m less power suit and more hooded sweatshirt. In fact, the people that know me best know that I really mean business when I’m rockin’ the messy bun.

When I’m not working with amazing business owners, I enjoy doing things that indulge my creative and curious side. That includes reading, listening to music, playing piano, crafting, and going outdoors to take in God’s awesome creation.

My fav type of fiction book: Mystery. I’m down for a good Agatha Christie novel.

My go-to music genre: Jazz, classical, R&B, gospel, Motown, 80’s…How could I possibly pick?

The “comfortiest” food: It’s between mac & cheese and french fries. I’m no stranger to carbs.

Types of movies I binge: Mostly comedy.

My current Starbucks order: Grande half-sweet iced caramel macchiato. Okay fine, venti.
